Moms Demand Action
@MomsDemand
Join our grassroots movement of Americans demanding reasonable solutions to address our nation’s culture of gun violence. @MomsDemand is a part of @Everytown.
As kids and teens spend more time at friends’ homes during the summer, it’s important to always ask parents and caregivers if there are guns in the home and how they are secured. #ASKDay #AskingSavesKids @bradybuzz

Americans overwhelmingly support requiring a permit before carrying a concealed gun in public. We cannot afford to roll back these common sense, reasonable policies that help keep communities and law enforcement officers safe. #ncpol #ncga
This floor vote is expected during the House session today. If it became law, anyone age 18 and up could carry a concealed gun with no permit. If they even call the vote, because there aren't enough votes for a later veto override in the House. #ncpol newsobserver.com/news/politics-…
This senseless act of violence undermines the very foundation of our democracy. The US must remain a place of discourse, not fear. We must stand united against political violence.

Wearing orange alongside my @BPHACaucus colleagues during National Gun Violence Awareness Month, always proud to stand in solidarity with survivors and advocate for a safer future across our state.
Proudly spent my time this weekend with moms, grandparents, students, dads, prosecutors, law enforcement officials, and all working to end the prevalence of gun violence and gun suicides in our community and in our rural areas of Missouri and Kansas.
Sr. Catherine of Siena said "Speak the truth in a million voices. It is silence that kills." Sr. Gemma, our Justice Promoter, continues to speak about the epidemic of gun violence in our nation. #wearorange #endgunviolence @NunsAgainstGunViolence

Peninsula @MomsDemand's annual #WearOrange potluck drew community partners, survivors and gun sense candidates. A survivor with Riverside's Hand-In-Hand Hospital Violence Intervention Program shared her story and led the event's survivor moment.

Every day, 52 people are killed in gun homicides—one every 28 minutes. More than half of murders in the US go unsolved. We #WearOrange this weekend to honor those whose loved ones never received justice.
