I was not ready for #WeWereLiars! It was good that I wished I had read the book. I knew it was giving #thesixthsense energy but I was not prepared… Good quotes that make you think. Especially the one Johnny said to Carrie in the last scene about not being able to leave… coma?

I laughed so hard today, I could feel my make up running down my cheeks and it all started with a spoon 🤣

Let this sit with you… I learned this the hard way in my work life and personal life.

Still trying to process today’s sweetest (and most dramatic) surprise from my amazing students, colleagues, Superintendent, and county support staff. So overwhelmed and grateful 💜💛

NC’s 115 school districts operate under vastly different requirements for teaching & learning, yet students are held to the same standardized test. To add to the complexity, there’s a prevailing notion that charter schools are a universal solution to the challenges in education.

This! The reality is that some teachers do not return after the winter break. Send a teacher a thank you note and let them know they are not alone. That you appreciate them and look forward to collaborating with them throughout the year
