Profound Ladies
@ProfoundLadies
We recruit and retain Black, Indigenous, Women of Color and equip those women with the mentorship, training, leadership, career development and community.
Mark your calendars! 📅 On April 25th, we celebrate five years of resilience, empowerment, and change at the Profound Ladies 5th Anniversary Charity Gala in Raleigh, NC. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable evening! 💙✨ More details coming soon! #ProfoundLadies

Today, PL celebrates Dr. Bettina Love, a fearless educator, scholar, and advocate for abolitionist teaching and educational justice. Dr. Love challenges us to dismantle oppressive educational systems and create spaces where Black and Brown students don’t just survive—they thrive.

Ida B. Wells wasn’t just a journalist—she was an educator, truth-teller, and warrior for justice. 🖊️✊🏾 She risked everything to expose racial violence, challenge segregation, and uplift Black women. Her work proves that education and truth-telling disrupt injustice.

Today, Profound Ladies proudly shines a spotlight on Dr. Gloria Ladson-Billings, a groundbreaking educator, scholar, and advocate for culturally relevant teaching. 📖✨

PL is out in the community and engaged with the changes taking place around education. This week, our focus was on Eggs and Issues. #ProfoundLadies #EggsandIssues2025

As women of color, we bring our stories, our pride, and our love into every space we enter—including the classroom. 🌍 Together, we thrive. Grab your #mondaymotivation and share it with others. #ProfoundLadies #CulturalEmpowerment
💎 Don’t forget to love yourself as much as you love others! Screenshot these affirmations and let them guide you to show up authentically all week long. 💕 #SelfLoveGoals #BeYou #profoundladies
This coming Monday, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who believed that education is not just a tool, but a force for justice, equality, and change. Happy Birthday Dr. King!

With the new year here, remember to set time aside for your wellness. PL members join us for wellness sessions centered on SEL & stress relief. How are you prioritizing yourself in the new year?

Monday motivation is all about you. When we embrace our authenticity, we give our students the courage to embrace theirs. Your culture is your superpower. Be proud to bring its beauty into the classroom.💫 #TeachWithLove #AuthenticTeacher #ProfoundLadies #TeacherInspiration
We’re staying busy at PL with our new member orientation! We welcome our newest members from the TFA BEP (Black Educator Promise). These partnerships help build retention and create safe spaces for our educators.

Earlier this month, PL was able to connect with Eddie Glaude! Eddie S. Glaude Jr. is an American academic, author, and pundit. He is the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University.

We’re thrilled to spotlight Maria as she kicks off the second week of school and her EPP classes at William Peace University! Her dedication to growth and learning is truly inspiring. We're cheering her on as she continues to excel and make a difference in her academic journey.

Strong women empower strong communities! 🩷 This #MotivationMonday, let’s remind ourselves that our influence is limitless, and we deserve to celebrate every win. 👏🏾 #ProfoundLadies #MotivatedToInspire
This week, we were in the building and rubbed shoulders with some great people at the 2024 AIM Conference! This year’s keynote, Sal Khan, shared some great insights into education and tech. We also met with Dr. Robert P Taylor & Dr. Catherine Truitt!
