It's baffling that storage vendors (esp. on-prem S3) are launching #vectorDB products. 1. Tethering a DB to a storage system 😱 2. Low value add: 1 choice of DB which is a DIY-able OSS in any case. I created a good #S3 vector search stack from scratch in 4 days🤷‍♂️. Why buy?
