This chart might also highlight why the Jurassic World Rebirth Titanosaurs being stated to be 11 tonnes is very silly. Granted, they are scaled to fit the frame, but they are described in the movie as the biggest dinosaurs, and are shot to "feel" as big as/bigger than Patagotitan
If you've seen some of my recent posts, you'll know I've had sauropods on the brain. With that in mind, here's a nugget of data from our recent study on dinosaur body size: our "preferred isometric" mass estimates for a selection of sauropods that came out as more than 20 tonnes!
