Excited to share that I’m officially starting today a new chapter of my PhD as visiting PhD student at @sangerinstitute

We are at the end of wrapping up a cool paper with 6 authors, decided to do whole day paper hackathon at my place to finish it, let’s see how it goes
I couldn't have hoped for a better conclusion to my visit to @sangerinstitute It was an incredible experience to be able to present my work from the last six months at the #AIxBio25 conference. I’d like to deeply thank @mo_lotfollahi and @gtesta72 for giving me this opportunity.

(1/n) The first preprint from our lab is now out in @NatureGenet! We tried to tackle a key challenge in spatial biology to quantitatively characterizing cellular niches by learning spatial gene programs using NicheCompas led by @SebastianBirk_. Paper: shorturl.at/b4Hjk
It was an amazing experience yesterday to give a talk within the Biosciences Division Seminars @Bruneluni giving insights about my PhD work. I met a lot of nice and super smart people. Thanks @ccamilla81 for inviting me, it was great to catch up again!

🎉 Scanpy 1.11.0 is out! 🎉 just after reaching 2000 stars on GitHub! - sc.pp.sample replaces subsample with many new features - Sparse Dask support pca - session-info2 package for more reproducible notebooks See the release notes: buff.ly/4gJJSNv
It’s a wrap! Our first PhD students retreat has come to an end and we really want to thank everyone who participated in this celebration of our 20 Years of Excellence in Life Sciences! #semmretreat24
Thank you very much to everyone who has attended the #HCA2024GM meeting. It’s been wonderful to connect with everyone and we really hope you’ve enjoyed it.
Last day of #HCA2024GM @humancellatlas kicking off with the “Cells in context” symposium organized by @carninci @gtesta72 @BockLab

cheers to the dream team of #Testalab going strong #SCG2024 @NicoloCaporale @CarloEmanueleV1 @PhMazenwk @MartaSallese @v_ale_nti
Last day at #SCG2024 it’s always a pleasure to attend this conference and present my work done at @gtesta72 here

Has been an amazing conference, thanks to the organizers for the opportunity to participate and present my work done at @gtesta72 lab. Lots of cool science and networking with old and new friends. #SCB24 @sangerinstitute @eventsWCS

We need to keep motivated #female academics stay! My voice is small, please amplify! Let's debunk these #misconceptions: #womenInScience
Starting this year with great news! Excited to share that for the second consecutive year I was awarded a @AIRC_it pre-doc fellowship to sustain my computational research in ovarian cancer for the next two years. Many thanks to my PI @gtesta72 for the constant support.
Boycotting Israeli science and scientists is not the way to solve conflicts. If we want peace, don't stop interaction among scientists. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…
A pleasure to have Amos Tanay at the Human Technopole today, seminar organized by our SEMM PhD students! Thanking also for coming here in difficult times. @humantechnopole
Truly honoured to have had the opportunity to host today Prof. Amos Tanay from @WeizmannScience here at @humantechnopole for our PhD seminar @semm_it series. Amazing talk and lots of scientific insights.

Thanks to all the ovarian cancer scientific community of @AACR for all the feedbacks and suggestions about my PhD work during poster session Many thanks to my supervisor @gtesta72 and my colleagues for the constant support to develop such a great project #AACRovc23 #ovariancancer

The entire OC team from @gtesta72 lab at @IEOufficiale is here at the #AACRovc23. Come have a look at posters A105, A087, A029, B066 with me, @MartaSallese, @s_roverselli and @BiancaBarzaghi to know more about our research
Thanks to the @ipscconf organizers for giving me the opportunity to present my work today at @CRUK_CI It has been a honour and an amazing experience!
As the last speaker of the #translationalmodel session, @MartaSallese of the @gtesta72 lab talks about how she uses deep learning single cell RNA-seq data to study metastatization and chemoresistance mechanisms in HGSOC! #IPSCC2023
