Very happy to see this paper on our cross-linguistic database of modals published! doi.org/10.1075/lv.230… In the paper, we describe the design of the database and discuss three case studies on how it can be used to investigate cross-ling universal and variation in modals.

We have received several interesting proposals for our 1st call "Replicating Experimental Linguistic Phenomena across ManyLanguages". We are now looking for reviewers, particularly experimental syntacticians who have exp with non-WEIRD populations. Get in touch, if that is you!
