I don't understand the contraversy. Did anybody even watch Man of Steel? It was clearly the story of an asylum seeking immigrant who gets deported by a fearful, xenophobic human populace & handed over to Zod. I remember taking note of the rather heavy-handed immigration allegory.
Its wild how hard people are trying to construct a political narrative around Superman. Maybe it really is just a movie and should be judged as such.
