Targeting our Afghan allies is unconscionable & cruel. Zia S. entered & resided in the United States legally, after serving bravely alongside American forces fighting against tyranny & oppression. 1/ courant.com/2025/07/18/ex-…
If people should be fired for perpetuating the so-called "hoax" of Russian interference, will President Trump fire Marco Rubio, who issued the Senate report documenting that interference?
Leavitt: Reporters at legacy outlets, some of which are sitting in this room today, were ridiculously awarded pulitzer prizes for their perpetuation of this hoax. It is well past time for those awards to be stripped. It is not journalism to propagate political disinformation in…
This story is psychotic. Trump sent a group of people—many of whom entered the U.S. *legally*—to a notorious foreign mega-prison without due process, in part to free a convicted murderer. I don't understand how anyone who cares about the rule of law can support this.
Breaking News: One of the men released from a Venezuelan prison in the Trump administration’s prisoner swap last week had killed three people, court documents show. nyti.ms/40vBFr8
Two things about these protests: 1. They are possible because Ukraine (unlike Russia) is still a democracy - one of the things that makes it worth defending. 2. Zelensky was wrong to undercut his anti-corruption institutions and should listen to his people.
Ukrainians have reacted with fury to President Volodymyr Zelensky's latest evening address on July 22, during which he confirmed he had signed a controversial bill that curtails the independence of Ukraine’s key anti-corruption institutions. kyivindependent.com/you-have-lost-…

The reason why Ukrainians are free to protest peacefully in Kyiv (in this case about a law just passed by parliament) is because they haven’t “ended the war” by surrendering to Putin and abolishing their democracy.
Huge protests erupt in Kyiv against Ukrainian President Zelensky as he is a dictator and refuses to make a peace deal and end the war. Good for the Ukrainian people! Throw him out of office! And America must STOP funding and sending weapons!!!
Bragging about raising a tax paid by working Americans, and insulting our intelligence at the same time.
We've brought in nearly $100B in tariff revenue so far and are on track for $300B this year. That's almost 1% of GDP. June delivered a budget surplus with higher revenue and lower spending. This is how we clean up the fiscal mess we inherited.
Given the standing order entered earlier today, which appoints Desiree Grace as U.S. Attorney effective today or on the expiration of 120 days after the A.G.’s appointment, it’s not even clear Bondi can fire her.
.@USAttyHabba has been doing a great job in making NJ safe again. Nonetheless, politically minded judges refused to allow her to continue in her position, replacing Alina with the First Assistant. Accordingly, the First Assistant United States Attorney in New Jersey has just…
Breaking News: Speaker Mike Johnson said he would shut down the House until September to block a vote on calling for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. nyti.ms/4nZtblR
Every non-cultist knows that a statement Maxwell gives to the current DOJ implicating Trump will not result in any sentence reduction. Maxwell & her lawyer also know that any statement she gives to lie & exonerate Trump likely will. The truth is in the files, not from Maxwell.
The Cover-up Congress goes on recess.
Speaker Johnson tells reporters at the Capitol that there will *not* be a vote this week related to the Epstein Files in the U.S. House. No legislative action is envisioned until after Labor Day.
JUST IN: Raising taxes leads to higher tax revenue.
It's great that Trump has promised to save our brave Afghan allies who were stuck in the UAE. So why is he simultaneously threatening to deport thousands of our Afghan allies who already made it to the USA?

Either Tulsi Gabbard should not be Director of National Intelligence . . . or, if you think she's telling the truth, Marco Rubio (who issued the Senate report finding that Trump welcomed & encouraged Russian interference in his election) should not be Secretary of State.
Tulsi Gabbard should not be the Director of National Intelligence.
Freeman Chair Senior Fellow @Henrietta_Ivy writes in @ForeignPolicy about Vietnam's complex balancing act with Beijing and other partners, arguing the US-Vietnam trade deal will increase both countries' dependence on China. Read below: foreignpolicy.com/2025/07/16/us-…
Given Trump's history with Epstein, Democrats should obviously keep playing offense. But in the long run, we're never going to beat MAGA at exploiting rage and paranoia. We need an ambitious plan to attack & change the information system that gives them their advantage.
As the Epstein story soaks up attention, Dems are learning to use Trump’s own tactics against him. On today’s #PlaybookPod, our @AdamWren and @DashaBurns discuss Dems’ attempts to close the “attention gap” with Republicans. 🎧: ow.ly/tEG750Wp5Ig
Why airdrop food (usually a last resort) when hundreds of trucks are waiting on the border? The only solution is to flood the zone with food so it reaches everyone and is too plentiful and cheap for armed groups to profit selling it. Restrictions hurt civilians & help Hamas.
Airdrops of aid into Gaza are currently being discussed with three regional countries, I'm told by a senior Israeli official. One of those countries is actively planning to proceed with airdrops. These discussions started three weeks ago. This answer was in response to a…
