The committee also authorized two subpoenas to the AG's department for their investigation of an alleged campaign finance violation and an alleged conflict-of-interest breach.

Department of Health and Human Services Director Elizabeth Hertel has been subpoenaed to appear before the House Oversight Committee on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025.

The House Oversight is adopting multiple document subpoenas to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources this morning. So far, two have been authorized regarding the DNR's enforcement of "feral swine" as invasive species, and euthanasia of Canadian geese.

No attendance, no voting in the House tomorrow.
