Ever tried the WhatsApp contact with @SouthWestWater ? I wouldn’t bother. It seems to rely on A. (That’s AI without the Intelligence bit.) Been trying to get them to fix a leak for 2 years now. It’s just getting worse. Next they’ll tell me not to use a hose pipe! Yeah right. 👍
So who was the second submarine commander to sink the German cruiser Hela? 😉 Maybe you mean she was the first German warship sunk by an RN Submarine in WW1.
⚓ Sir Max Horton is the most distinguished submariner in the Royal Navy's history. The medals show his illustrious service. The Distinguished Service Order was awarded in 1914 for becoming the first submarine commander to sink the German cruiser Hela. bit.ly/3nZHXeD

Today is an unforgettable one for me. OTD in 1982 I arrived in the TEZ, HMS Coventry was sunk and I was later to learn my oppo AB(EW) Adrian Sunderland was KIA onboard. MV Atlantic Conveyor was also sunk. RIP. It was Argentina’s National Day and OTD I also got married.
