This morning, our officers arrested a 31-year-old woman for theft after being observed stealing from a visitor in ST James’s Park. She remains in custody at this time.

It was a pleasure to support the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery during today's 41-gun salute in The Green Park, to mark Her Majesty The Queen's 78th birthday.

To commemorate Her Majesty The Queen's birthday, a 41-Gun Salute will take place today at midday in The Green Park. Please exercise caution if visiting with dogs that may be sensitive to loud noises.

Together with our MPS colleagues, we have been policing today's annual Belgian Cenotaph Parade. Established with the approval of King George V in 1934, Belgium is the sole country outside of the Commonwealth nations permitted to parade its armed and uniformed soldiers in London.

The Safer Parks Team at #BushyPark have been dealing with a total of seven people who they found fishing illegally using inadequate fishing gear in the canal refuge. This activity can harm the fish and injure waterfowl. Offenders can be taken to court by police and prosecuted.

Officers from the Safer Parks Team at #RichmondPark are currently dealing with a road traffic collision between a stationary vehicle and a cyclist. The cyclist has received a suspect broken collar bone and a rib injury. We wish him a speedy recovery 🚴‍♂️

Royal Parks Police Inspector Richards took charge of his final Changing the Guard this morning before heading off on new adventures in South London. Making sure all our visitors have a safe and enjoyable time, even we’re not sure he can take the credit for today’s weather!

Officers on the Safer Parks Team attended #BushyPark this afternoon following a report of males in balaclavas stealing bicycles. They were able to locate the males and one of them made off on a stolen bicycle. The officers chased and arrested this male & recovered the bicycle.

Yesterday, Royal Parks officers arrested three males in connection with a theft incident. This followed a report of stolen sports bags from the Will to Win tennis club in Hyde Park. The individuals were apprehended in a vehicle nearby, and the stolen items were recovered.

A male has been convicted of assaulting a Royal Parks volunteer and two other people at Southwark CC. Anders Fernstedt was approached regarding his unauthorised handling of swans. He has been handed a two-year ban from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens & 15-month community order.
