As part of #SecondChanceEduc Advocacy, we held a dialogue at Wangkawa primary school with teachers, parents, key stakeholders from neighboring schools & @pdlgUg officials to increase collaboration between teachers & parents for a more supportive environment for learners #HerVoice




To address the specific needs of journalists in analyzing & challenging gender bias in media, and strategize to promote more inclusive & equitable representation we facilitating training of 30 journalists in #Aruacity on feminist transformative leadership under #voicesforchange.

We joined the #GirlsFirst Summit by @shesthefirst.This was a space to celebrate girl-centered leadership, share knowledge & strengthen movement for girls rights It strengthened our capacity & skills in girl-centered engagement thru the #GirlsFirst Institute Advanced Certification

Currently attending the Positive Masculinity Conference organised by @MEMPROWUganda with participants from Congo and other EAC Countries. I am glad ghat masculinity is being redefined and Ethnographically being discussed. We need mentored Men and boy for better gender outcomes .
From pre-colonial community structures where men were protectors/nurturers, to colonial disruptions, our facilitator is unpacking how masculinity in Africa has shifted over time We’re asking: What traditional masculinities upheld dignity, balance & care?And how can we reclaim it?
