One of the highlights of sabbatical… Getting to spend time on the eastern shore of Maryland with my dear brother, @stephenspin, and our families!

The blessedness or happiness of God is an underexamined, short-shrifted subject. I rediscovered a Dr. Doug Kelly RTS lecture recently that I had not heard for probably 18 years, and I could remember whole passages verbatim, such was the impression it made.
1. Kirby Smart is not my favorite football coach. 2. Smart would not be a fine example of leadership since so many UGA players find themselves in jail. 3. My Dillon accent is endearing to many.
"I would exspecially like to thank my favorite college football coach, Kirby Smart, for setting such a fine example for me." -@MD_Adams90
A good word from my brother, @stephenspin!
"We can minister for the glory and honor of an audience of one – our Lord Jesus Christ, and that is good news." ~ Rev. Stephen Spinnenweber (@stephenspin) at the 2025 PCA General Assembly GRN Dinner Banquet
I like these answers from @grok!
Based on your tweets—Reformed pastor, family man, worship advocate, with humor and patriotism: - Dictator: Oliver Cromwell (Puritan reformer, strict yet principled). - Philosopher: John Calvin (theological depth, systematic faith). - Fictional character: Atticus Finch (moral…
Hey @grok, based on ALL my tweets, I am: Which dictator? Which philosopher? Which fictional character? Which politician? Which religious figure? Which historical figure? Which artist?

Just a reminder, tomorrow is the Lord’s Day! "Public worship occurs when the people of God assemble for the express purpose of giving to the Lord the glory due His name and enjoying the joy of His promised special presence with His own people.” - @LigonDuncan
Peak Presbyterianism! While traveling down the eastern shore of Virginia I had to take a few moments to visit the Makemie Monument Park and teach my kiddos about Francis Makemie, the founder of organized Presbyterianism in America.

It was an honor to preach this morning at Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church in Asheville, NC for my dear friend, @smccann24! They are a welcoming, joyful, and singing congregation! It was a joy to be with them on this Lord’s Day.

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!” (Ps. 122:1)
The 12th post in our new “Catechism on Reformed Worship” is live! open.substack.com/pub/mdadams/p/…

Excellent monologue by my friend, @CamdenBucey, on electing psalms and hymns for a corporate worship service. Pastoral, helpful, and a few funny moments. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ref…
Friends, pray for my buddy, @gurley_seth! A big W for RUF and the College of Charleston!
Big news for the Gurley's. I've taken a call to serve as the RUF Campus Minister at the College of Charleston. Time to go reach some students for Christ in my home state!
AMERICA! 🇺🇸
Your friendly reminder that the American War of Independence was a just war 🇺🇸
Enjoyed listening to @CivEcclyMinded and @RobPacienza talk about public theology and the church’s responsibility to disciple their people to be salt and light in society. Great discussion for my morning workout! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/civ…
Apologies for the delay in continuing the series on the work Job Dalomba and I have done on a new Catechism on Reformed Worship. Many at the #PCAGA have commended this work and found it helpful, maybe you will too! mdadams.substack.com/p/the-lords-su…

A low view of the Lord’s Day has pervaded evangelicalism. Can you imagine taking a “sabbath” from gathered worship?! I can’t.
