On a different note, after another week of @RUFnational training surrounded by hundreds of ministers, staff, and interns committed to reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve the church, I am feeling bullish on the PCA.
RUF Staff Training in Denver Monday-Friday, then officially installed as the RUF Campus Minister at College of Charleston on Saturday by Lowcountry Presbytery. Its been a good week! Thanks to @Nick_Batzig for the photo!

Day 3 of my first RUF Staff Training: RUF assumes that Christ ordinarily saves sinners and sanctifies saints through the institution of the church. Our job on campus is not to replace the church but to connect students back to it. We have our marching orders!

In college ministry you have 4 yrs MAX with a student. What do you need to impress upon them? What is true (Scripture)... about who Christ has already made them (justification) ...and who He is making them to be (sanctification).
What’s the rationale for those three doctrines in particular?
Day 2 of my first RUF Staff Training: RUF wants pastors who know the Reformed doctrines of (a) Scripture, (b) justification, and (c) sanctification - not just intellectually, but experientially. Our job is to unapologetically apply those truths to students' hearts. Im in.

This is the way
Priorities unchanged. Another major secured. The wins keep coming on and off the course for Scottie Scheffler
Union with Christ is the fountainhead of every grace. Apart from Him we can do nothing; in Him, we possess everything.
I guess the online Orthodox bros are just capitalizing on the Halo generation. Fascinating.
Are you a gamer and also a Gregorian chant's fan? Well, you don't need to, to listen and appreciate the Halo theme sung a capella in a cathedral. [📹 chanticleersf]
Couterpoint: Its not a Sunday unless you went to church, communed with Christ, tasted eternity, and then rested to the glory of God.
It’s not a Sunday unless you completely waste it and then feel sad around 8pm.
