At 6 yrs old I got to perform with my father at state house. Being back 34 years later, to not just host but enjoy the experience with youth from across Zambia for the First Lady of Zambia @MrsHichilema mentorship programme in ending child marriage was a full circle moment. 🙏

This morning, our team delivered key supplies to #Solwezi General Hospital and handed over 80 sewing machines to boost community livelihoods across North-Western Province. Grateful to our partners for helping us champion this mission of empowerment #SustainableLivelihoods

Here’s the truth: When someone living with HIV is on treatment and their viral load is undetectable, they can’t pass it on. That’s what we mean when we say Undetectable = Untransmittable. Or simply U = U Let’s break the silence. Let’s end the stigma #ZeroHIVStigmaDay #UequalsU

HIV stigma leads to social exclusion and discrimination, preventing people from accessing the care and support they need. #ZeroHIVStigmaDay #UequalsU #EndStigma

Beautiful tradition
Honored my husband in true Zambian Tonga tradition called Pobwe ya Chihyole where my family thank my him for taking care of me and our children. We cook for his family and He is gifted back some of his dowry. #PobweYaChihyole #wekeepmovingzm
Stigma and discrimination continue to be major barriers to HIV prevention, care, and treatment. Excited to see our esteemed SDG Supporters (B’Flow, Pompi, Esther, Lulu, Wezi, Florence) join stakeholders in planning for the upcoming #ZeroHIVStigmaDay. @UNZambia

The Congolese really did a thing with Sombe Semaki, added some black garlic flare to it by using some of the deliciousness from hinds aromatic garlic and herb. Food comma mwebantu 🙌🙌🙌
This right here? 100% facts. 😅 I always tell anyone MCing a government event: the anthem and salutations are sacred. And no matter how final that “final list” seems… someone will appear mid-program needing recognition.
As someone who has MCeed at these events for 2 decades,I have come to learn that the greatest threat to national unity isn’t tribalism, corruption or fiscal mismanagement. No,It is the devastating trauma of a Deputy Provincial so & so for not hearing their name in the salutations.
I will follow her. Love food pics that are soul stirring.
Listen @blackgarliczm is a beast on camera. Her food photography is next level
