That’s literally the point of vaccination, you idiots.
Spike protein antibodies are 10x higher in the vaccinated compared to the unvaccinated, even years after getting the shots. This is not normal.
Dept. of Justice phone number spoofing by Scammers is a fun twist. I wonder how long it'll take for our incompetent govn't to fix this one.
Just. Wow. As we went over Mexico and the U.S. this morning, I caught this sprite. Sprites are TLEs or Transient Luminous Events, that happen above the clouds and are triggered by intense electrical activity in the thunderstorms below. We have a great view above the clouds, so…
Weird! It's almost like there might be something to this climate change thing... No no no, it must've been all the immigrants. 🙄
We had a similar event in Juneau Alaska last week. Unseasonal wind, hail, even what looks like the start of a tornado. A cruise ship broke free from the dock and was floating towards other cruise ships in the channel. Crazy, never seen anything like it in 55 years.
Here's a tutorial I wrote on how I design detection and cloning primers using Primer3. Hopefully it's helpful for students. 💚 binomicalabs.notion.site/PCR-Primer-Des…
Okay the moon is pretty dope especially if you have the wildfire smoke right now…
They're literally doing the meme
$4 million for “legume systems research.”
I'm Eileen Laubacher. A retired Rear Admiral and the Democrat running against Lauren Boebert. I know what sacrifice means and service looks like. Boebert doesn’t have a clue. Can you help me get to 20k followers to show her we can do this?!
Does anyone else look at eukaryotes and think, what did those cells have to do to end up in the bad place?
The idea that the conduct of research at independent institutions for the benefit of all Americans should be motivated by being "in sync... with the administration", and not by truth regardless of politics, is utterly and profoundly against the core ideals of America
Linda McMahon: "Universities should continue to be able to do research as long as they're abiding by the laws and in sync, I think, with the administration and what the administration is trying to accomplish."
The federal government just punished thousands of innocent students because a private university refused to violate their constitutional rights and allow the state to spy on them. You’re seriously referring to that as democratic accountability? Your intellectual justifications…
It’s also what happens to most of my high school friends on Facebook the be fair.
When Claude instances talk to each other, in ~90% of open-ended interactions they spiral into discussions of consciousness, then profuse gratitude, then abstract spiritual/poetic expressions with Sanskrit and emojis.
but that's not true. here you retweeted someone criticizing ppl for wearing clothes they consider inappropriate for their gender. so you do care about clothes. it's just that your judgements are based in bigotry and mine are based in obscure menswear rules no one cares about
The new @UPS motto should be “You’ll get your package when we feel like it”
I’d have preferred this to age worse
The combination of the difficulty in getting NIH and NSF grants that are shrinking wrt inflation with all this billionaire money tossed around in already-rich areas very much feels like US science is reverting to renaissance patronage and abandoning 20th century democratization
I got hit by some rather sudden and extreme financial hardship so if anyone is in need of remote wetlab contract research, strictly BSL1, do let me know. Currently scrambling for gigs. Plant, Bacterial, Archaeal Bioeng Custom Lab Hardware Turn Key Genetic Design Please RT 💚
Super excited to share my first PhD preprint! Meet LySE - a novel phage-based system for directed evolution of entire gene clusters in E. coli, overcoming size limitations and off-target mutations in classical directed evolution 🧬 👉🏻 biorxiv.org/content/10.110… 1/
