Eu sou apenas um paleoartista latinoamericano sem dinheiro no banco, sem parentes importantes e vindo do interior.
Cover to my first art book collection Carbon Based. Hoping people will dig it & hoping it’ll allow me to catch up on some things & hopefully seek relief for my back problems I’m always whining about. Thanks guys! kickstarter.com/projects/onipr…
#Ostrichs have incredibly bizarre feet. When I could acquire two fresh feet from a breeder this was a great chance to take many detail photos of the different scale types, which are also great references for #Paleoart. #Fossilfriday. New paper day! Phil Bell led a great study on some *INSANELY COOL* titanosaur tracks our expedition found in Mongolia. The scales in particular are extra awesome - they're like little pyramids, and they *may* have helped with scratch digging and/or walking on sandy surfaces!
The first-ever soft tissues of the Jurassic megapredator, Temnodontosaurus! The winglike, metre-long flipper contains structures never seen in any animal (living or extinct) & shows this giant evolved a unique hunting behaviour. Nature: nature.com/articles/s4158…
A series of hadrosaurs and their flying companions I’m sure they would have been sources of insect snacks

Look at his size. He small. He's a small boy. Kitten size.
A reminder that I will be presenting at @DinoConUK on August 16th. I'll be exploring the scaley, diverse textures of Diplodocus and kin, and also touch upon the science behind fossil color patterning 🌈🦕
Essa cara estava a frente do seu tempo...
Happy #fossilfriday! Today I want to share one of my favorite depictions of Camarasaurus. Artwork by Bill Berry
