Migrants, LGBT & Human Rights. She/Her.
“Concerned locals” in Epping—where 1 in 8 are white sex offenders—aren’t protesting that. But house a few refugees and suddenly it’s pitchforks out. This isn’t concern. It’s pure, raging racism. #r4today
In Poplar and Limehouse, we are clear: refugees are welcome here. In the face of relentless demonisation and targeting, we continue to stand with migrants for their rights to safety and dignity. It’s the far-right and their hateful ideology that are not welcome here.
A first rate response. Other constituency MPs need to consider this very carefully. They have a role to play in calming the extremist narrative taking hold.
Diss is a town rooted in compassion and decency. What happened in Diss last night was wrong. Groups from outside our community came here to create fear and division. That is not who we are.
Gov decides to use unproven tech to age assess asylum-seeking children, offering child protection if a computer thinks their faces look old. AI models to be trained on images of young people. Presumably not y.p. from Middle East + Africa, aged by trauma. theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/j…
As the former Immigration Minister you’d expect Robert to know that Foreign National Offenders sentenced to anything over 12 months are subject to an automatic deportation order. Oh wait… he does know, he’s just trying to stir the pot a bit more.

All these people 'protesting' outside hotels? Haven't they got jobs?
Not retweeting this utter nonsense, but my God the lies. You don’t need to listen further than ‘they get £40 a week cash’. Oh & the choice of iPhone or Samsung… Asylum support in hotels is £9.95 per week on an Aspen card. No cash.

This is so very crucial. Senedd elections next year. It’s unthinkable that we lose Wales to Reform. All eyes on Wales. And all strength & solidarity to the good people of Wales.
Reform performing poorly in Welsh by-elections overnight. Lost in Baglan, Prestatyn, Pontypridd - to Labour, Tories, and Plaid respectively. It’s not going to be as easy for them as they think it is.
‘We’re going to send back the people you smuggle’. How about ‘we’re going to help the people you’re exploiting’? They’re not targeting smugglers; they’re targeting refugees. And smugglers are already adapting, as they did before when HGVs & Trains were used by them.

The fascists are in Dover… all of a couple of hundred of them. It’s weird isn’t it, for all their noise on here they’re too lazy, or too ashamed, to get there, whereas the people they hate walk through fire to make it to Dover. I know who I’d rather share our country with.
