#CallOut 29/24 Last night, as the team was wrapping up a training session at the Post in Drymen, we were alerted by Police at 21:43 to a group of walkers who had become lost and disorientated whilst descending from the summit of Ben Venue. Everyone off the hill safely by 01:18

#CallOut 39/24 At 18:39 on Sunday evening, Lomond MRT were called to an individual who had become disoriented on Ben Venue. Police Scotland were able to provide a grid reference and team members located the individual quickly before leading them off the hill.

#CallOut 32/24 At 14:07 this afternoon, Lomond MRT were called to Conic Hill where a walker had sustained a suspected ankle fracture/dislocation. Following initial assessment, pain relief was administered and a vacuum splint applied before the casualty stretchered to Balmaha.


#CallOut 31/24 On Monday evening at 19:30, Lomond MRT were called to a party in difficulty on the West Highland Way. As we were deploying to Rowardennan to commence the search, the party was located and transferred to Inversnaid by colleagues from the Loch Lomond Rescue Boat.

#CallOut 30/24 At 20:42 yesterday evening, Lomond MRT were called to a casualty who was unable to walk with a badly swollen ankle at Rowchoish Bothy on the West Highland Way.

#CallOut 26/24 At 15:57 this afternoon, Lomond MRT were called to assist with a walker who had sustained a head injury on Ben Venue. Many thanks to Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the crew of R151 for assistance at the casualty location and onward transfer to hospital.




#CallOut 25/24 At 12:58 this afternoon, Lomond MRT were called to assist with a walker who had sustained a lower leg injury on the Campsie Fells. Following initial assessment and treatment, the casualty was stretchered off the hill to a waiting ambulance.




#CallOut 24/24 At 01:45 this morning, Lomond MRT were called to a group requiring medical assistance who were camped on the West Highland Way. Following initial assessment, the casualties were transferred to a waiting ambulance.




#CallOut 21/24 At 17:37 yesterday evening, Lomond MRT were called to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service following an accident at Campsie Glen where a casualty had fallen approximately 25ft onto a rocky area.
