Busy few days for us, with call outs on the WHW, Ben Lui, & An Caisteal. Massive thanks @MCA_media Rescue 151 & Rescue 199 for air support. Remember: respect the Munros, good hillcraft incl. map & compass, right kit & sensible choices are key. #BenLui #AnCaisteal #ThreeInThree
Winter's grip remains on Scottish mountains! Another challenging rescue on Stuc a Chroin last night. Two climbers brought to safety. Conditions are still tough – are YOU prepared? #MountainSafety #WinterPreparedness #Scotland #MountainRescue
The #weather outlook across our area is similar to much of Scotland. High winds, rain, and snow are forecast tomorrow, making the mountains very challenging. Given the conditions, reaching you in an emergency may take many hours, and air support is unlikely. Follow @the_MWIS

Last weekend was our final training of the year. And it was time to test our skills against the search dogs from Search & Rescue Dog Association (Scotland) and SARDA Southern Scotland along with their handlers from Tayside Mountain Rescue Team and Ochils Mountain Rescue Team.
Some good advice on how to enjoy a winter day in the Scottish hills. Remember, if you do need assistance, then call "999" and ask for "POLICE" then "MOUNTAIN RESCUE". This ensures you will get assistance as quickly as possible. #killinmrt

Its #999Day! Big shoutout to our awesome volunteers who keep our team going. And let's not forget the families, friends, and employers who have our backs too! #999policemountainrescue #killinmrt

Staying safe in the dark. In the dark. It’s that time again the days are getting shorter on the hill the light goes quicker and you have to modify your plans over winter … heavywhalley.wordpress.com/2024/08/22/sta…
Some pics from supporting our local community #killinshow and climbing #Benledi with @SrfcRugby on Saturday.
