so pleasantly surprised at CM Sanders’s clearly genuine commitment to using City resources to meaningfully address local homelessness. def not to say I have blind faith, but I think we’re all well aware this could be going very differently. I’m hopeful we’ll see this through.

There are sidewalks but no crosswalks in this area, between a dense (LIHTC) apartment complex and a commercial area in a new mixed-use development. Because VDOT prioritizes "operational impacts" over safety.
Just horrible. A woman and three young children were struck by a vehicle as they were walking across Stony Point Road last week. One of the children, a 4-month- old, later died and the other two were critically injured.
