The deceased man located along the railroad tracks near Covesville has been identified as 48-year-old Justin R. Weeks. According to County PIO Logan Bogert, no foul play is suspected in his death, but the Medical Examiner's Office in Richmond has yet to determine cause of death.
A railway passenger spotted what they believed to be a body in wooded area along the tracks in Covesville on Saturday and called 911. Albemarle County Police investigators later discovered the remains of a deceased male, who they believe died in mid-June.
