Today marks 85 years since the Welles Declaration — a historic 🇺🇸 stance against the soviet occupation of 🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪. By not recognizing the occupation, the US kept hope alive for millions under oppression. We honor Welles’ legacy & remain grateful to 🇺🇸 for believing in our freedom.
