In Washington, 🇱🇹DefMin @DSakaliene expressed support for 🇺🇸@POTUS decision to supply US-made weaponry to Ukraine, fully funded by NATO allies. Lithuania is prepared to contribute to the delivery of “Patriot” systems to Ukraine, with up to €30 million allocated for this purpose.

85 years ago today, Secretary of State Welles declared that the U.S. would not recognize the USSR's illegal military take over of the Baltic states. It gave hope to the millions of Estonians, Latvians, and Lithuanians who would live under Soviet occupation until 1991.
