C J Martha Koome, as Chief Justice and head of the Judiciary, it is advisable that you avoid commenting on matters pending in Court. Just listen for once and save the legal fraternity unnecessary embarrassment.
The ODPP defended the charges of terrorism using this woman’s words, but she’s now conveniently coming out to say it was improper, yet she was the brainchild of it all. Martha hardly speaks out on the state of the nation. And when she does, she lies.

File is not yet assigned to magistrate or a court no. but it somehow acquired signed orders from some unnamed person. It also bears no seal contrary to what it states. Arresting officers search and seize items from locations outside the warrant. But Kenyans are the lawbreakers?
Before, JSC classifies my ranting as an 'unwarranted criticism': There is a court order from DCI that is dated 17 July 2025, signed by an unnamed magistrate. However, on the CTS(efilling system), the application is yet to be allocated to a magistrate. It is worrying 😟
As you can see, this order was signed on the 17th, so the DCI could’ve acted as far back as two days ago, but they waited till the weekend, when the impunity of acting outside the scope of the warrant cannot be urgently challenged in court. Let’s see how the court handles this.
Why did they conduct a search at @bonifacemwangi house and seize his gadgets yet the order was for Mageuzi Hub? Will the court also uphold this blatant abuse of a court order?
Judicial power is derived from the people. So the judiciary speaking at us as if it is a law unto itself when questioned on its methods lately regarding bail & bond, is the very antithesis of accountability and the beginning of impunity. No institution is immune from critique.
This, boys and girls, is the Judiciary talking at us. The concerns by the public are completely warranted. What citizens are saying is that the Judiciary appears to be aiding impunity. And this criticism cannot be dismissed as vilification. The Judiciary is not above reproach.
