I am calling on the Government to act following the ICJ Advisory Opinion and impose sanctions on Israel. We have rightly imposed widespread sanctions on Russia for its illegal war on Ukraine. We now need to do the same in our response to Israel’s actions on Gaza.

I was really pleased to call in and meet residents and staff of Priors Hall Care Home and join them in enjoying their summer fayre. Priors Hall is a modern residential care home providing both luxurious and comfortable facilities and is set in private landscaped gardens.

On Monday, I hosted the second Corby and East Northamptonshire special educational needs roundtable, and on Tuesday we had SENDS 4 Dad in Parliament.  Here’s my contribution in @UKParliament following that round table meeting.

I know from meeting 16 & 17 years olds in Corby and East Northamptonshire how switched on they are about political issues that impact them now and in the future. I am proud that we are widening the franchise and empowering young people to have their say.

Pen Green and Oundle to be home of new ‘family hubs’ in Corby and East Northamptonshire. I am really pleased that Government ‘family hubs,’ based on the successful Sure Start programs introduced by the last Labour Government, will be set up at Pen Green and Oundle.

The use of NDAs to cover up abuse and harassment is growing – across industries and workplaces, amongst those in insecure work. It can’t go on. This Labour government is taking action to ban NDAs used for this purpose. No one should suffer in silence. theguardian.com/politics/2025/…

I have written an open letter on the second warehouse project between Titchmarsh and Thrapston. I would urge councillors hearing the case for this second project to closely consider residents voices in reaching their decisions. #corby #eastnorthamptonshire #thrapston

It was great to go along and show my support to Oakley Fest over the weekend. It was a brilliant community event for local residents and joined by the Mayor who conducted his choir for a couple of songs. A good day was had by all. #corby #eastnorthamptonshire

One year on from then Labour Government being elected on a mandate of change I was delighted to visit the newly opened Corby Community Diagnostic Centre. This new £11.7m diagnostic centre will deliver about 93,000 tests a year. Lots done. Lots to do.
