I have a friend who is taking her boys out of public school and putting them into a Catholic school instead. She said that before they answer any questions (even math equations) in class, the teachers ask them how they feel. I thought she was joking but she was dead serious.
Is the answer to this question not common knowledge among adults? I don’t expect people to have necessarily learned this in school, but doesn’t this come up in the plots of a lot of movies and TV shows?
