🚨We know we sound like a broken record, but it's gonna be hot again today! Heat indices will exceed 105 in many areas across the Mid-South today, climbing above 110 for much of the area north of I-40. Confidence is high that this heat wave will continue through the work week.🥵
Yes, it is summer. However, next week continues to look unbearably hot with many areas likely seeing heat index values (what it will feel like) approach 110°F by the middle of the week.

Good afternoon, all! With as quickly as it warmed up this morning, instability has been able to flourish the last couple of hours. We now have a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms. A damaging wind gust along with localized heavy rainfall will remain the primary threats.
