On the day Southern Water resorts to a hosepipe ban, I welcome further measures to tackle failing companies, incl. scrapping Ofwat for new regulator. 💧 Failure to invest in infrastructure let us down, and a broken regulatory system let it happen. Pleased Labour are acting. 💪🏾

Previous governments sought a trade deal with India. They could not agree one. The Labour Government negotiated and agreed the deal, signed today. It will benefit the UK economy and give us access to a huge market, growing in power and prosperity. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

A big day for @unisouthampton and for the city! Today, we're celebrating the opening of a new campus in New Delhi, India. Our city continues to be a global leader when it comes to higher education and I couldn't be more proud.
