Motori Lab
@LabMotori
We study mitochondria, neurometabolism and neurodegeneration. Our lab is located at the University of Cologne, Germany.
Very happy to be part of such a great story from @RobertaFilogra2 and @mitopinionated! A clear example that also negative data are needed to progress our scientific knowledge.
Our study is finally out! nature.com/articles/s4153… We here show that PARKIN is dispensable for OXPHOS function in adult mouse tissues and in skeletal muscle from a PD-patient. Thanks to @mitopinionated , @LabMotori, @perlmannlab and Per Svenningsson for the great collaboration!
Excited to share our highlight on this incredible work by Zorzano and Scorrano's groups! Check it out now! 📚

Happy to share this great news!!! Looking forward the next four years to come, working on the very exciting topic of how mitochondria regulate cell function! As usual, we will keep a special focus on brain 🧠 #mitochondria #brain #CRC1218
📣Congratulations to all of us! 🎉🎉🎉 The #CRC1218 is funded by the DFG for another four years! This collaborative grant will foster exciting discoveries on how #mitochondria regulate cell function.
A big day for the Cologne mitochondrial community! The #CRC1218 is funded by the DFG for another four years! This collaborative grant will foster exciting discoveries on how #mitochondria regulate cell function. Thank you to all colleagues, postdocs, and PhD students involved.
