It’s my birthday! To celebrate, you should all go buy my book “Hasty Corporeal Ink” wherever you get your books 🤗
Idea for an event men can organize for their church: Lesson on Emergency Roadside Assistance Gather in the church parking lot on a Saturday morning & teach young boys (and/or girls) how to (1) Jumpstart a car when the battery dies (2) Change a flat tire (3) Change a fuse
It’s so interesting because I’ve heard of these people, but I’ve haven’t yet had to interview them or work with them My experience working with Gen Z folks has been pretty positive, actually! There’s hope, guys.
I’m back… There are actually TWO incredible ice cream places under 6 minutes from our new house Self discipline did not win today
I will register one and only one complaint about the new place: It’s only 4 minutes away from some of the best ice cream in all of CT. How am I supposed to exist knowing that amazing ice cream is only a 4-minute drive away??? How will I NOT eat ice cream every day???
But there’s “no pastor shortage” according to a lot of you on here 🙃
Harrison had an excellent sermon. He also said: "I need 1000 of you to enter church work now!" He wasn't holding back 😊
How did eviscerating come to be a positive description of art? Like yeah man, that poem totally eviscerated me. My intestines have spilled out. I'm holding them in my hands in shock and confused agony. Anyway, I think you should check it out! Click here!
Sitting outside on my deck as I work, and I hear the ducks who live next door Cute neighbors, IMO
Lutheranism is Catholic in all truth and Protestant against all error.
Folks who found Lutheranism thru @MattWhitmanTMBH interview.
In our new house. Now the unpacking begins! (After I nap)
“i asked chatgpt” “i asked grok” well i asked obi-wan kenobi and he said “you want to go home and rethink your life”
Yes. Walther has a great section on this in his “Pastoral Theology.” So does Gerberding in “The Lutheran Pastor”…For all who are interested
Sermons are not Bible studies
