This week, I visited the Marcus Lipton Community Enterprise in Lambeth with @helenhayes_ to see the @LDN_VRU's MyEnds programme in action. It was fantastic to see community-led violence prevention solutions making a real difference to young lives.

Youth workers in 12 London hospitals are having impact. Nearly 80% of young people in hospital due to violence reduced their risk of harm because of skilled youth workers. We brought youth workers, NHS and councils together to look at how we build on this approach in London.

We held the latest of our Inclusive London events in Newham. Over the last year, we have brought together education leaders, community organisations and schools to highlight #PromisingPractice. This event included: ✅Approaches to improve attendance ✅Embedding anti-racism


🧡Every day youth workers support young Londoners with a guiding hand into education, employment and opportunity. 💡We invest in youth work and mentoring across youth clubs, schools, hospitals, custody-suites and neighbourhoods. ❗To us and to young people, youth work matters.

The My Ends Family across London came to Croydon for our 5th Tertiary Working Group meeting chaired by @LDN_VRU hosted by @CroydonVA - Tough but necessary conversation with thanks to @StGilesTrust
Intervening early means we can prevent violence from happening. With @SadiqKhan, we're funding support for children with speech, language and communication needs: 🧡96% have narrowed the gap to their peers 🧡Fewer incidents as children are using words to resolve conflict.
