Off duty this week. But the fact so many written questions have been submitted over the last year shows how deeply MPs are concerned about #loancharge #loanchargesuicides.
#LoanChargeScandal not going away, 51 Written Questions since #GeneralElection! Thank you Angus Macdonald for keeping spotlight on injustice. Standard response from @jamesmurray_ldn, but as @loanchargeAPPG reaches 144 @RachelReevesMP should take note. questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-questi…
Shocking double standards from HMRC and government as large companies settle for 15% whilst #LoanChargeScandal victims driven to despair & #LoanChargeSuicides. Time for #FairResolution, time for 15% settlement for all #LoanChargeScandal mis-selling victims.
Now it’s known that #HMRC settled for just 15% (85% discount) with large companies, victims of mis-selling MUST be offered at least as good terms. The current review into settlements must now conclude this to have any credibility. We’ve written to Ray McCann urging him to do so.

It doesn't matter though does it Dan? Because the establishment is fine with these sort of people getting away with it, which they absolutely will, despite the huge body of evidence of their wrongdoing. What happened to @NCA_UK investigation into these 2 crooks? It's been ages 🧐
A Sky News investigation has revealed how, over two decades, some of Britain's biggest recruitment companies were linked to large-scale tax avoidance when placing workers into jobs, including government roles in Whitehall. 🔗 Read more trib.al/kCCAqjt

8/8 expert clearly. Time will tell. It's been an eye-opening journey this far. I used to think we lived in a functioning democracy. Aparently not. @loanchargeAPPG @SarahGreenLD @LCAG_2019 @SarahEGabbai @keithmgordon @jamesmurray_ldn @DrOsitaMba
7/8 Though I remain hopeful that a request to set aside the decision will be accepted for reasons I've given, there is no guaratee. The fact that the Tribunal thought there was enough there to hear a case suggests that this shouldn't be allowed to fail at this stage. I'm no
6/8 strike out decision should the Tribunal fail to accept my request to reinstate the case. This is the reality of trying to go up against a determined and well resorced Gov department who have spent 000s already in wilfully avoiding FOI obligations and possibly commiting crimes
5/8 see justice done with this FOI request so a couple of months more isn't material. I expect to hear from the Tribunal in the next few weeks on whether they intend to set aside their own decision as I've asked. I've made clear that I seek permission to appeal the
4/8 proceed, and I consider there to be other grounds that should enable the Tribunal to use flexibility it has to set aside the strike out decision and reconvene the case at a suitable date. Apologies to those who were waiting for this hearing, but I've waited nearly 4 years to
3/8 by the Tribunal, and as I'm working alone and am inexperienced in such matters, HMT were able to take advantage and force the Tribunal to strike out the case. I should say that I've appealed that decision, on the basis that its in the interests of justice to see the case
2/8 Unfortunately, HMT legal team successfully lodged an appeal to have the proceedings struck due to my failure to undertake what seems to be a very onerous set of administrative tasks for a litigant in person. I had misunderstood the case management directions issued
1/8 Update on my ongoing attempts to have HMT held in contempt for failing to disclose the final draft of the sham #Loancharge Review. As some of you know, this case was meant to be heard 18th September. It was then delayed until 17th October (this week) due to no HMT counsel 🤨
