Admittedly I don’t know much about automobile insurance, but Alberta’s system makes a little more sense to me after reading this. There are also tangible recommendations for improvements outlined. A great read 👇🏻👇🏻 calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…
A great read and collab by team member @AM_Iafano, along with other leaders from @iedm_montreal, calling for unprecedented speed and maximum deadlines on government permitting and approvals on national infrastructure projects. It's exactly why Ontario legislated "One Project,…

The Province of Alberta embracing activity-based funding is great news for patients. Congratulations to @ABDanielleSmith for her leadership on this important file.
Big Bear Camp Aerodrome Project did not need an impact assessment. So, while it technically received a decision it did not go through the process, which is what is being referenced.
The fact it took you five days to come up with a response to a tweet is indicative of why projects are bogged down in the IAA processus for so long. #cdnpoli

U.S. tariffs will cause pain on both sides of the border. Canada's response should be to build a stronger and more resilient economy. Read our full reaction below. 👇 #cdnpoli #cdnecon
This is welcome news for Albertan consumers. Hopefully, it can help spark a national conversation on the topic so more provinces can open up and help Canada's vintners, distillers and brewers expand! #abpoli #OneCountryOneMarket
OK, so, Singh might actually be (accidentally) correct here. But probably not for the reasons he things. Lets say the US puts an x% tariff on everything it imports from Canada. The initial effect is a combination of CAN export price reduction and US import price increases 1/7
Singh worries that Trump tariffs will raise prices in Canada. Huh? How? Seriously, does he understand how tariffs work? #QP
Folks typically want 3 things from a city hall: Keep shared spaces & streets clean, safe & in good repair As cities get bigger, often too so do the delusions of grandeur of politicians & bureaucrats They try to “save the world” instead of “fix the potholes” & taxpayers pay big

Generational fairness, the theme of this year's budget, is now being tested by Parliament. The Bloc's demand to increase old age security (supported by the CPC and the NDP so far) is too expensive and poorly targeted. It's bad policy. But I also think it's bad politics. /1
Yesterday a majority of parliamentarians, including Conservatives, voted in favour of raising the OAS. Today @trevortombe estimates that it would be the equivalent of a new $200-400 per year tax on working Canadians to fund an unjustified intergenerational transfer.

"…there is no projection for when the city could run out of water, just that it can happen if demand exceeds supply." How is this possible? Is it just not publicly shared or have no projections been made at all? Seems incredibly irresponsible #yyccc globalnews.ca/news/10566922/…
