First try taking Milky Way photos taken in 2023 vs. my most recent Milky Way shot in 2025.

Can you spot the buck in this photo? I took this up at Blue Mountain earlier this week. It's so beautiful up there.

Good Morning X! Some ThursdayThoughts. Still up and euphoric from my Milky Way session in the mountains last night. Reminds me of when I worked in pizza in my 20's and I would be so jazzed when I got off work, it'd keep me up all night! Same with photography. I love it so much.

Do you get an extra wish when you wish for a shooting star?

I have to thank the people who were parked on the side of the road for this photo. They did a good job of convincing me it was okay to park and get out on the road up at Deer Park. I was so scared last time that I took the photo out of my sunroof, but this time I walked around!

It’s another “Moody Monday”! Let’s see those moody skies!! ☁️

We had some mammatus clouds over Bainbridge Monday night.

Oh man, you guys know how much I love to drive. I decided to put Dwight Yokum radio on and this song popped up. It's just such a great song to drive to - I love it! youtube.com/watch?v=s6JJ1q…
I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to go up to Hurricane Ridge and get a few Milky Way photos before the moon came up. I like this one because a passing car lit up the trees for me.

I went up to Mt. Walker for the sunset Saturday night. Not sure how I ended up there considering it wasn't on my list of sunset spots tonight but for some reason, I was called, so I went.

Well, I read my moonrise chart wrong and went out to shoot the moonrise in the wrong spot at the wrong time but did get a cool pic of the Space Needle at night. I also had an encounter with a wild animal that I had to yell at. Then someone lit off what sounded like an M-80. 😵💫🥴

M/V Wentachee heading to Seattle from Bainbridge today. First day back since switching to a hybrid - super cool!

The moutain was elusive today. It was there but not really. Must be all the smoke and perhaps some mirrors.

The light was so pretty shining on the buildings at sunset tonight.

First time seeing lenticular clouds in Eastern Washington.
