But MC Serch said on drink champs Boldy James has a better catalogue than anybody in HipHop history, even better than Nas and Jay-Z. 😂🤦🏻♂️ If heads say “you’re sleeping on Boldy James” that doesn’t mean you haven’t heard his music, it means you’ve heard all his music…
Trying to see how fast you can fall asleep standing up I see.
Damn, How did I forget my 2nd favorite Emcee of all time?🤦🏻♂️😂
Nas?
HipHop legends are killing it the last few years… LL/Q-Tip Common/Pete Rock Snoop/Dre Ice Cube Xzibit Raekwon Smif-N-Wessun Bun B High & Mighty Clipse Vinnie Paz Slick Rick Kool Keith Masta Killa All these artists have dope albums out and all are rapping at a high level.
Rae is speaking for all of us “Real HipHop” heads that have been holding it down for the culture for all these years that have said again and again that that shit ain’t HipHop. Yes I said “Real HipHop” and if you don’t like that term maybe it’s because you’re not it. 🤷🏻♂️
Raekwon explains why he feels hip-hop isn’t authentic anymore and addresses artists like Post Malone being labeled as rappers: “I like him. I’m a fan. But that ain’t hip-hop.”
@KillahKeef Hey my guy new freestyle 🔥 just dropped x.com/KSHAMPZ/status…
Another week another Bars from the Blocc!!!! This time we had to go with this Classic by Jay Z produced by @kanyewest Lucifer!!! This shit is Easy money 💰💰💰 I told y'all I'm not playing games TAP IN!!!!
He said, and I quote… “There has not been a single Emcee, ever, in the history of the culture, ever, to put out 10 albums as strong as Boldy James last 10 albums”
Bruh you're joking about Serch saying that right?
Since KRS-One bodied Ice Cube on “We In There” when he said… “Your whole gangster image is not legit, you heard Criminal Minded and bit the whole shit” We going with KRS all day.
KRS-One vs Ice Cube? (better Emcee, music catalog)
I gotta say Pras because he absolutely ruined all those dope ass Fugees songs whenever he spit a verse.
Is Silkk the worst rapper of all time? Probably.
😂😂😂 I had a friend back in the 90’s that thought “Immobilarity” was better than “Cuban Linx” and I stopped hanging out with him after he said that, I don’t need that kinda energy around me at all. Word.
I truly and humbly apologize good brother but did you actually type out that Immobilarity is slightly underrated and Supreme Clientele is slightly overrated?!? You have a blessed day good brother! I won’t be responding to your tweets for the next 48 hours…see you Friday…
Word up, no doubt. The only thing I will say to counter that is I have a hard time calling “Cuban Linx” and “Ironman” solo albums. Cuban Linx is (RZA/Ghost/Rae) and Ironman is (RZA/Ghost/Rae/Cappa) I don’t see how Ironman is solo when Ghost isn’t even on 2 tracks on the album.
Everybdoy in the Wu was a solo artists but since RZA saw what him and GZA went through it just seemed better to come out as a crew/group which it’s why the goal was always everybody get solo deals cause that’s what everybody wanted in the 1st place. They just went about getting…
I forgot about RZA and GZA solo albums until after I typed this and I was about to say they debuted as a group, but that would be wrong considering those albums, so I get where you’re coming from after looking at it from that perspective.
Here’s the thing RZA and GZA both had solo albums before there was a Wu Tang Clan so the solo albums actually came before 36 if we’re being honest. And even if you don’t wanna count those then the 1st Wu solo albums dropped in ‘94 with Meth’s Tical not ‘98 like you said. Hell by…
Quick is dope but he don’t have anything on the level of Straight Outa Compton, The Chronic, Doggystyle or 2001, so we can stop this insanity.
DJ Quik reacts and agrees with a fan who says he’s the legendary producer everyone thinks Dr. Dre is.
How does that make any sense considering that The Beatles influenced Black Sabbath? The Beatles had arguably the first Heavy Metal song when they dropped “Helter Skelter” in 1968 and Black Sabbath debuted in 1970 almost 2 years later so you can dead that nonsense.
Black Sabbath is more influential than the Beatles.
One love brother Kil but I gotta say I see it differently. Wu is a group first and the solo albums don’t start until 1998. All the Wu solo albums from 1993-1997 are group albums featuring 2 or more members. RZA said this back in the 90’s and he’s the one who made the albums.
You'd have to give me those examples. #1 for ME Wu isn't a "group." It's a crew of MC's like BCC, Native Tongues, Heiro, etc. It's literally TEN MEMBERS! That ain't no group. So that's like saying if the Native Tongues made3 classic albums that Chi Ali has THREE classic albums…
Marley Marl Dr. Dre DJ Premier RZA

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He had a point, would you have listened to I Am... if it looked like this 👇🏼
Man, they attacked me for that shit for like a week straight. 😂😂😂👊🏼
Very dope album!! Sorry to change the subject but whenever I see this album I think of when @KillahKeef said something like he don't wanna listen to a happy looking album and got roasted for days... 😭😭😭
Everybody always blames Puffy for the Jiggy era, but why doesn’t Jay-Z get any blame for that shit? Jay was at the forefront of the Jiggy era wearing shiny suits and shiny glasses and then he released “Where I’m From” and y’all just forgot about that shit. I’ll never forget.
