I sadly got rid of my CDs & vinyl, but I found a bunch of old tapes - including the GD (my initials) mixtape series, where I would pull songs from multiple radio shows. I would type/print the tracklist & do it monthly. Spent countless hours doing this. A true labour of love 🤣🤣

I always say the same thing in diff ways. He's 100% right. It's cool if you like the music you listen to, but that doesn't make it hip-hop or good. There are parameters to what makes hip-hop, hip-hop & parameters to what makes someone a talented MC or not. There's rules to this.

What's an album you wanted to hear that never came out? Dr. Dre x Ice Cube - Helter Skelter Natural Born Killaz was the lead single, but after Dre left Death Row it was shelved.
I thought this was one of the worst albums I've ever listened to front to back. Not even kidding.
5 years ago today, Boldy James & Sterling Toles dropped Manger on McNichols one of the best hip hop records to drop this decade and genuinely flawless in my eyes, it’s really no wonder it took over a decade to create this masterpiece… favourite song/thoughts on the album?
