We are grateful to @ScottishLabour MSPs for adding their names in support of our statement on recognition. Alongside yesterday’s statement from @AnasSarwar, it sends a clear message that all Scottish Labour MSPs support recognition of the State of Palestine.
We are receiving desperate messages of starvation from #Gaza, including from our colleagues. Food prices have increased 40 fold. Meanwhile, just outside Gaza, stockpiled in warehouses UNRWA has enough food for the entire population for over three months. The suffering in Gaza…

I asked First Minster John Swinney at #FMQs today if he would consider the compulsory purchase of Ardrossan Harbour as a way of progressing the 7 year delay to the upgrading work to reinstate Ardrossan as the main port for the Arran Ferry.
Great to join campaigners who travelled to Holyrood today to demand action from the Scottish Government, Along with @ScottishLabour colleagues I will continue to call on the government to prioritise the reinstatement of Ardrossan Harbour.

This week, my amendments to the Care Reform (Scotland) Bill requiring ministers to publish regular reports on the state of the social care sector were agreed to by Parliament. Hopeful that this will lead to more effective market monitoring and transparency.
Thank you to all the MSPs who voted for my amendments to the Care Reform (Scotland) Bill to extend FOI to the outsourced care sector. Disappointing that the Tories and Scottish Government blocked the proposal

Raised by @KatySClark at FMQs who asked FM if pay should be raised to minimum of £15 an hour. FM said this was a matter for trade unions and employers, urging them to find something "fair for the workforce and affordable for Enable" @heraldscotland Story: heraldscotland.com/news/25234018.…
Ahead of FMQs, care workers protest pay outside Holyrood with union bosses calling for immediate intervention from the Scottish Government. It coincides with strikes by Enable Scotland workers in Glasgow and Edinburgh Story for @heraldscotland soon
Great to join @unisonscot Enable members on strike for a fair pay deal outside the Scottish Parliament today, and then to raise their case with John Swinney at #FMQs

Thanks to @KatySClark MSP for welcoming @RMTunion women members to @ScotParl today #WomenOrganising #Solidarity
A massive congratulations to our newest MSP, Davy Russell! The road to a new direction for Scotland in 2026 with Anas Sarwar as First Minister begins here.
Solidarity with Scottish Water workers on strike. After awarding excessive executive bonuses, Scottish Water reduced the offer already rejected by the workforce. The Scottish Government must intervene to ensure there is a fair pay offer @UniteScotland @GMBScotOrg @unisonscot
Our campaigners are the absolute best. Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to support @DavyRussell4HLS. And an even bigger thanks to everyone who has voted for Davy and @ScottishLabour 🌹🗳️
