Headcannons are hard, when you work on the show they just end up eeking their way into the show naturally. But I always loved enby/genderqueer MK. I mean, he's made from a rock. He's an avatar. Why would gender even matter to him, yknow? What is gender to a concept of nature.
And as for silly headcannons, idk- probably something with Mei/Redson. I really liked them as a duo, and I thought their connection with the Samadhi fire was interesting. I'd have loved to go further down that rabbit hole in regards to how similar they can be at times.
