So excited to be launching this video today! A big thanks to everyone starring in it - including @BinitaKane @oonagh_cousins @tessamunt 👏👏👏
We’ve been so moved seeing the #FundThePlan videos over the past few weeks. Now, we want to get our call to #FundThePlan out far and wide. Here’s a little something we’ve put together for the campaign. We’d love your help making some noise with it 🙏
Especially after yesterday, a MASSIVE shoutout to @ABrokenBattery for capturing so many of these moments! 🙏 Total public service to the ME community and we’re very, very grateful.
We’ve been working to change narratives around ME and Long Covid. Narratives can be notoriously difficult to shift but we’ve been chipping away at them over the past year. Part of this has been getting our team out in the media. We’ve also supported others to tell their stories
Huge congratulations to the @ThereForME_UK team as they celebrate their 1st Birthday So grateful to you @KarenLHargrave @GoreLloyd @oonagh_cousins on all that you've achieved & all that you're doing for us all, especially while going through so much yourselves 💙
Today we’re celebrating a year to the day since @KarenLHargrave & @GoreLloyd launched #ThereForME! We had a busy day yesterday responding to the Delivery Plan release. It’s clear how much more our campaign has left to do - but today we’re reflecting on what we’ve done so far.

So that is Year 1 of #ThereForME Wrapped! A huge thank you to everyone who has helped along the way. From support and encouragement on social media, to our gang of helpful volunteers - we couldn’t have done it without you 💙
We’ve also been working to bring lived experience to the heart of policymaking. We believe it’s essential to get lived experience in front of people with the power to influence policy and practice. 👇
A lot of work (and support from volunteers!) has gone into some of our bigger campaigns. From our #ThereForME advent calendar to #FundThePlan the past year has kept us busy.
We’re a small team and we can’t do it all. That’s why building a coalition is part of our strategy. We think change for people with ME and Long Covid will be the result of a diverse coalition calling for action from many directions. Some of our allies so far 👇
A short 🧵 celebrating a year of #ThereForME! It’s been a whirlwind and the biggest thanks to all who have played a part. By no means the biggest achievement but it will never cease to delight me that our only photo of our HQ trio together features our Christmas jumpers 🎄🎅

This write up from @Channel4News is worth a look - more on @BentonNick18437’s story, who has done such an awesome job speaking out 💪
ME Delivery Plan: will it make a difference? channel4.com/news/me-delive…
A silver lining of today is the powerful media coverage we've seen. Brilliant voices building a new narrative on ME, one that reflects the true reality of this illness. Crucial for real progress. Legends @KarenLHargrave @BentonNick18437 @TimesONeill @swastrosarah @BinitaKane
Sean O’Neill on Times Radio talking about the new government delivery plan for ME/CFS “I’ve never seen a plan that lacks detailed quite such as this. I think it you couldn’t really call it a plan at all, it’s a kind of wish list.” youtu.be/wu21bQ6GEg4?si…
A shame not to get the opportunity to correct the record with the guest interviewed after this (IYKYK), but if listeners remember one thing from this Radio 4 segment I hope it’s this 👇
“I honestly just did not realise that it was possible, in the UK in 2025, to be as sick as my husband is & for there to be basically no specialist NHS services to provide any kind of support” Our co-founder @KarenLHargrave on Radio 4 WATO 👇 (Recording via @ABrokenBattery)

Honestly, there are just not enough prizes in the world for @tessamunt. THANK YOU 🙏
Advocate extraordinaire @tessamunt stands up in parliament just now demanding to know why the Delivery Plan has not been made public. @AshleyDalton_MP seemingly unaware - clear this is not how it should be and says she will take up with officials.

Lots going on today with ME coverage! 📺 📻 Some coverage we’re expecting today (pending news schedules): - Our co-founder @KarenLHargrave due to be featured on Radio 4 World at One between 1-2pm - #ThereForME Ambasador @BinitaKane due on Channel 4 News between 7-8pm
Thanks for a helpful analysis @KarenLHargrave. Really helpful whilst we wait to see the Plan. 👇🏽
The Final Delivery Plan for ME/CFS has been released today. The full report was shared with some organisations and media outlets late yesterday. We’re waiting for it to go online. A short 🧵with some thoughts… (1/)
