One year ago today, I got my first agent offer on A PRINCE AMONG PIRATES, just 48 hours after sending my first query. 🥹 And now, a little over one year from now, the world will be able to meet Kit and his captain.

Grief is such a strange thing to live with. I think right now, I am in the best place emotionally that I have ever been, and yet, tonight, my emotions snuck up on me and I ended up sobbing about the baby on my best friend's couch. Just more proof that grief never leaves you.

Accountability update: Finally sat down to write about an hour and a half ago after dying my hair and getting my niece from school. So far, 1,100 words down. Taking a break to feed the cats and move to the couch with my heated blanket. And my hairrrr for proof of activity lol
Saying that Asexuality can be “cured”, is what sexual predators say to their asexual victims. It’s predator language.
