This partnership will leverage local expertise, strengthen health referral systems and equip communities with life-saving prevention and first-aid skills moving us closer to dramatically reducing snakebite deaths and disabilities across the region.

@MOH_Kenya through @primateresearch @K_SRIC, engaged Garissa County through the County Director for Health and the CEO of Garissa County Referral Hospital, to deepen our collaborative fight against snakebite envenoming in counties endemic with snakebite.

The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration on SBE interventions and discussions on the Prior Informed Consent & Mutually Agreed Terms . Governor commended KIPRE’s efforts and reaffirmed Kitui’s commitment to strengthening the fight against SBE.
