Yesterday, our dedicated team responded to an emergency call from residents of Mlolongo after a black-necked spitting cobra was spotted inside a swimming pool causing panic in the area. Thanks to the team’s swift and professional response, the situation was safely resolved.

@MOH_Kenya through @primateresearch @K_SRIC Kenya and the Siaya County Department of Health are currently strengthening community education efforts on snakebite first aid and prevention across all six sub-counties of Siaya County. #SnakebiteAwareness #CommunityHealth #NTDs
@primateresearch through @K_SRIC has been conducting training and capacity building workshops for wildlife rangers in Ijara sub-county and Garissa town. The training focused on snakebite awareness, first aid and prevention measures, as well as snake identification and rescue.
