Radar at 11:30 Sunday morning. Lightning is detected with the showers and thunderstorms moving north of Highway 90.
We’ve had 78 90-degree days in Austin so far this year, compared to 152 for all of 2024.
A few more showers with isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be primarily in areas along and east of I-35. Dry and hotter weather is ahead for the next four days.

There is an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon as an area of low pressure moves across south Texas.
Low pressure has made it into Texas. It will track across the southern part of the state leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms both afternoons.
Through July 25, Texas is one of the only states averaging cooler-than-normal temperatures this month.
