Republican communities (rural areas for example) love to complain about being stuck with no resources and a “rigged system" while REPEATEDLY VOTING FOR THE VERY PEOPLE who underfund schools, gut services, and rig the system against them. The cognitive dissonance is insane

The problem here is that it is illegal for law enforcement to notify the Dept of Homeland Security EVEN WHEN THEY ARE DEALING WITH A VIOLENT CRIMINAL. No real exceptions make Colorado a sanctuary state, and that has to change for criminals. #copolitics

What Democrats won’t tell you: They voted against a tax break on tips and overtime at the federal level. AND They voted to purposely add back in the tax on overtime at the state level in Colorado. Definitely NOT the party of working families. #copolitics
What Republicans won’t tell you: No tax on tips? Expires in three years. Tax cuts for the rich? Permanent.
A better question to ask is this: what gave the state legislature the right to violate TABOR and choose to raise taxes on working families despite a federal tax break for them? Good tax policy defends TABOR. #copolitics
