Despite my better judgment (the risk of being harassed by trolls) many people on this app feel like friends, so I wanted to share this post about my late father who passed away last week. His life epitomized the American Dream—a dream that often seems elusive today. 🧵

There is a minority group wrecking the country, hoarding wealth, shipping jobs overseas, buying our politicians, gutting the planet, and letting kids die. It’s not immigrants. It’s not poor people. It’s the top 1%. The only minority destroying America is the oligarchs.
Hear me out Governor... BIG BLUE ANIMALS STATUTES across the state!! Divide the $$ to ~12 cities to each build a sculpture! BAM, new statewide scavenger hunt. A tourism magnet. A lasting legacy. A permanent brand for Colorado.
Coloradans who took part in our online survey have voted not to proceed with the Colorado 150 Pedestrian Walkway to celebrate our 150th anniversary as a state. Thank you to everyone who shared their opinions and voted. I will commit my time and effort to prevent this walkway from…
I’ll say it since your billionaire handlers won’t let you: Eliminate taxes on labor, wages, overtime, tips. Replace it with wealth taxes on the top 1%. You don’t care about lowering taxes. You care about protecting the rich from ever paying their share.
Why is this something any democrat would be excited about? So let me get this straight, the party that believes in “fairness, equality and inclusion” wants to be sure they deny anyone else’s interests or representation of those people in the gold dome and legislation?
As I've said, I'm happy to reduce or eliminate taxes on labor-based income (including any overtime taxes) in exchange for taxing the 1% their fair share. I'm proposing an income tax cut for the 99% for a wealth tax on the 1% Why do you oppose that? (Hint: your oligarch donors)
“Let’s tax working families more because we are going to win anyway” is an interesting position to take. #copolitics #coleg
In Nov 2026, Colorado Democrats are going to win back a Supermajority in the State House and protect all the seats in the State Senate. We will also probably win all the Statewide races by 12-19% as well
Not only does this violate TABOR, but the polling on it is absolutely brutal for Colorado Democrats. #copolitics #coleg
Republican communities (rural areas for example) love to complain about being stuck with no resources and a “rigged system" while REPEATEDLY VOTING FOR THE VERY PEOPLE who underfund schools, gut services, and rig the system against them. The cognitive dissonance is insane
Should we tax the rich and raise wages? Nah. Let's just make working class folks bike 12 miles in the snow instead... Listen, I’m pro-bike, but this is a wild take. Most people can’t replace cars with bikes. That doesn’t mean they deserve debt or a lack of funds...
Replacing a car with an e-bike can save a household $120,000 over a decade—enough to wipe out debt, fund a college account, or boost retirement savings.
Stephen Colbert to Paramount
BREAKING: The FCC approves $8 billion Paramount-Skydance merger.
From villain, to anti-hero, to maybe the fuckin actual hero. If she works with Mamdani as NYC Mayor for his projects for the working class... She might end up having the best political trajectory in the 21st century.
New York’s Kathy Hochul opens the door to redrawing House lines ow.ly/2F1l106gPnc
This would be hilarious if this backfires and somehow ends up slowing unwinding TABOR when SCOCO gives elected officials the ability to raise taxes through a loophole.
Today, we filed a lawsuit against the State because HB-1296 violates TABOR. Elected officials are not allowed to raise taxes on overtime by $500M without voter approval. #copolitics #coleg
If you think Florida is better than Colorado, then please leave my state 🙏🏾
Yes. Florida is far superior for the locals than California is
Jeff, ironically, I DO think they sat on it b/c they realized if they released it that no one on the right-wing would believe them AND they probably wanted to protect some donors & maybe Clinton. Trump is definitely in the files. His history with Epstein is WELL documented.
From the NYT. This is such BS. You mean to tell me that the Biden administration just sat on this? After digging through Melania's underwear drawer and prosecuting Trump over misallocating campaign checks. Give me a break! Fake news!
Bring it back during the AI Special Session!
We tried to pass this law in Colorado to protect consumers from paying higher prices because the largest companies in the world are spying on them. Our effort failed in the face of an all hands on deck lobbying effort, we will be back.
Late Stage Capitalism is killing the American Dream.
The housing crisis is killing the American Dream.
"Mr. President, there's about 127 names in the files and you are 85 of them"
New reporting reveals Pam Bondi told Trump in May that his name appeared "multiple times" in the Epstein files.
Colorado is the only state with TABOR and now we have soaring crime rates. TABOR increases crime?
This is why Colorado is the 2nd most dangerous state in the country. Leftist Dems personally attack law enforcement at every opportunity.
Gabe Evans would like to make Colorado into Florida. No thank you. Keep your swamp.
Colorado Dems have a quality of life problem. Ruling Democrats should get on board with Republicans' plan to gut the flow of fentanyl and tusi, crack down on Tren de Aragua, and stop raising taxes on overtime. THAT is how we make our state better again. cpr.org/2025/07/15/few…
I’m listening. When 93% of Coloradans hated that 150-year bridge, it might be the most bipartisan moment we’ve had since… ever. #OnlyInColorado #coleg 🐻🦬💙

Airport observations and questions; People who lay on the airport floor like it's a yoga mat... Why? People who blast videos on speaker like we're in their living room... Why? People who treat moving walkways like park benches... Why?
