Composite image of the Solar Eclipse from Newport, VT. My first time doing something like this.

Yesterday was my best completely solo chase. Execution was very good. I didn’t wait too long to leave and gave my self ample time to reposition. What I wish I did better? Keep going south towards SE CT instead of stopping in Hartford. Other than that I think I did good.

My thing is that some models have had an uptick in coverage in storms across CT/MA. Like the HRRR (yes I know it sucks) is what I’ve waited all season for.
The struggles of a slow storm season? The constant thought of second guessing. For me, it’s never about tornadoes. It’s about getting in position for to time lapse and photograph. I really would love to stay close to CT or Central MA.
