Two months ago I started as an organiser for North Cornwall, little did I know I’d be thrown into the deep end so quick. It has been tiring but great to have worked with such an experienced campaign team, have learnt so much. 14.7k Tory majority turned into a 10.7k LD majority!

Only for immigrants - so what’s the purpose? If it is to stop and check ID, it means police having to profile and just disproportionately stopping people of colour - not white migrants who may be assumed to be British and thus won’t have the “immigration-only ID cards”
EXCL: Ministers are working on plans to introduce ID cards - but just for immigrants. They would be digital documents (uploaded on a mobile phone) which prove their right to live & work in Britain. There's massive concern over boat migrants working illegally as Deliveroo riders
Josh’s background reflects our party’s values and ambitions, and his voice will bring a fresh, much-needed perspective to the committees the President sits on. As we look to connect with younger voters and make gains in Labour-facing areas, @JoshBabarinde is the voice we need.
The Liberal Democrats must be the first and last line of defence against the populism infecting our politics. We need to be ready to fight for the soul of our country. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗜’𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁. Get…

What we are not going to do now is have a go at tactics that can help mental health, especially in an industry (politics) where that and general support is so appalling.

In 2022 when energy bills were set to go up £80 per month, government went all-out and ended up spending £23 billion on the Energy Price Guarantee. But when renters are expected to find THREE TIMES that monthly amount, the government couldn't care less! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

This is such a non gotcha. Some sixth form students have as many contact hours as MPs spend in media panels, hosting shows like Jenrick, or chairing internal meetings.
If Labour think you’re old enough to vote at 16 do they also think you’re old enough to stand for election at 16? If not, why not? If yes, and the 16 year old becomes an MP, how will they fit in their studies? Remember they can’t leave education until they’re 18.
Blair didn't need to suspend Corbyn or McDonnell, but then again he had a plan for government and the drive to see it through.
It is so weird for Starmer to gift Corbyn / Greens some MPs because they opposed something most people would expect Labour to oppose
Sources confirm that Labour suspending at least three MPs - others could follow and some expected to get warnings. They are three new MPs - Neil Duncan Jordan who spoke out first against winter fuel, Chris Hinchliff who led rebellion on planning and Brian Leishman.
