New: Mayor Bass under increased scrutiny over claims she did not know about fire weather before leaving the country. City and county sources tell me there’s a lot of finger pointing and recordings of the mayor “snapping” at officials not staying on message.

#Erick just made Cat 3 landfall, by far the record earliest E. Pac. major #hurricane landfall in western Mexico dating to late 1950s. Kiko (Aug. 26, 1989) was previous record, over 2 months later! Here were previous May-July Cat 3+ EPAC tracks. Don't see any MX landfalls.

Last night the Pentagon informed NPR, NBC, The New York Times and Politico that they're losing office space in the Pentagon as part of a new annual "rotation program." Several pro-Trump media outlets will be moving in.
Asked if he will visit the plane crash site, President Donald Trump answered: "What's the site? The water? You want me to go swimming?"
